CNC and Manual Machinist

1+ years of machining experience required

NO EXPERIENCE WITH GLASS NEEDED

Run and Maintain CNC Haas Mill. Perform setups and simple programs in G code (if able). Assist with methodizing, setting up, and grinding of glass components.

Run a Blanchard grinder

Ability to program basic parts in G code and edit programs from CAM software is a big plus!

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of CNC operating (3 Axis Mill)
  • set-up experience a plus!
  • 1+ years of manual machining experience
  • Able to write G-code for simple parts a plus
  • Experience with CAM is a plus
  • Strong desire to learn on the job
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline driven and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity

The selected individual will receive training to:

  • Work in accordance with PLX processes, procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents
  • Set up and operating procedures specific to working with glass parts

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17-33 per hour (skills and experience dependent)
